Steamed fish has got to be the easiest thing to make. Want to make it with minimal cleanup? Put it in a foil packet!
Things you will need:
Tilapia fillets (however much you want)
1 lemon - slice into 1/4" slices
ground black pepper
sea salt (or regular table salt)
1 red bell pepper - slice
some thyme
Let's start with rinsing and patting the fillets dry. Then pull out them foil. I used a piece about 12" x 10". Place your tilapia piece on the foil.
Then sprinkle both sides of the fish with salt and pepper. Add one slice of lemon and some red bell peppers. Also add some dried thyme on top for some flair and subtle flavors.
Pick up both sides of foil (along the length of the fillet) and pinch at the top.
Fold the edge down.
Then fold the other two ends in and you have a complete packet ready!
Finish up until you run out of tilapia fillets. Throw them all in the oven and bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes.
Voila! You got dinner!
I serve it with roasted young potatoes and carrots the Nur's way.
